His cocktail included an antipsychotic, two antidepressants, an antihypertensive and an anticonvulsant a benzodiazepine and an opioid. In America, benzodiazepines and opiates have an FDA black box warning. Despite their warning, they continue to be regularly prescribed together.
Isaac is no longer here, not because he did not follow the advice of doctors, but because he did.
Just the simple fact of taking one opioid and benzodiazepine increases the risk of death to patient by 15 times.
