Dr. Gottlieb has served as a Chief Medical Officer for many years. He was the Gulf Coast Regional Chief Medical Officer for CHRISTUS Health, in Houston. In this role, Dr. Gottlieb had oversight for the three (3) CHRISTUS hospitals in the greater Houston area. He has also been the Chief Medical Officer at Memorial Hermann Memorial City Hospital and St. Joseph Medical Center in Houston.
Dr. Gottlieb is a Certified Physician Executive with the American Association for Physician Leadership (AAPL). He holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Houston Baptist University. Dr. Gottlieb completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine; and remains board-certified in Internal Medicine.
Prior to joining CHRISTUS, Dr. Gottlieb served as the Medical Director for CIGNA HealthCare of Texas. He also worked in Medical Directorship roles with FPA Medical Management of Texas, Inc./University Medical Group and with MacGregor Medical Association. Dr. Gottlieb serves as a Clinical Instructor, Department of Internal Medicine, with the University of Texas Medical School at Houston.
