Unfortunately, this is becoming more common as providers retire, pass away, change office policies, or refuse to prescribe or assist with proper tapering.

nonprofit educating about the adverse effects of benzodiazepines it’s so important! My husband has a paradoxical reaction to them. Which the information says it’s only like 1 to something like 5% of the population I beg to differ I think it’s a lot more than that like a lot more I’ve known just in my closed circle of Friends several people have had very bad reactions they turn extremely aggressive instead of being calmed down they’re amped up and angry I didn’t know if there were any studies going on to study this type of reaction if there are my husband should be in one because if they say it’s only 1% that’s pretty low amount and I’m positive he has a paradoxical reaction turns into the complete opposite version of himself. And then in the midst of it he genuinely believes that he’s acting completely like himself totally normal he can’t see it but everybody else can just by looking at him and hearing him talk. Have you guys found any type of therapy or even medication that helps with this?
