
Dr. Patricia Halligan is an Addiction Psychiatrist. She completed her psychiatry residency at Cornell-The New York Hospital and Fellowship in Addiction Psychiatry at the Medical University of South Carolina. She is double board certified in General and Addiction Psychiatry and holds medical licenses in both New York and South Carolina. Dr. Halligan is an advocate for those suffering during the Opioid Epidemic and an avid Buprenorphine prescriber since 2003. She is active in the fight against the overprescribing of Benzodiazepines and Z drugs and has been performing long slow Valium tapers in her private practice for decades. Dr. Halligan believes in the power of connection and trained at the Center for Group Studies in NYC to run modern analytic groups for people in recovery.
