We’re grateful to Healthy Lincoln County’s Substance Use Prevention Partnership for the opportunity to participate in their recent educational initiative. Nicole Lamberson, PA, Medical Director of the Benzodiazepine Information Coalition, delivered a presentation on the risks, long-term effects, and safe deprescribing of benzodiazepines.
Healthy Lincoln County works to promote health and wellness through education, prevention, and community support. You can learn more about their programs here: https://www.healthylincolncounty.org

I see this as a big unaddressed problem.
Doctors don’t know how to coach patients to avoid dangers of seizures while tapering
Ativan & other Benzos & helping them get off to avoid dementia.
Would like to find your info for tapering off Alprazolam. Been taking 1.5 mg nightly for about 4 years for sleep. In 11 months I am down to .50 to .75 mg. Want to get off these for good but can’t seem to just stop.
