Duke University’s Margolis Center for Health Policy, in cooperation with the FDA, held a public workshop Safe Use of Benzodiazepines: Clinical, Regulatory, and Public Health Perspectives on July 12 and 13. Our director, Dr. Christy Huff, spoke at the workshop about benzodiazepine safety and her own experience. This event was open to the public.

Thank you for spending time on this important topic. I am struggling with PAWS, after a three year taper from Benzodiazepines. I tried my best to be a part of the workshop, however I’m simply not well enough. Thank you, Christy for the service and advocacy in our community. I hope that you continue to heal. You look great!
